The Dias de Gloria pays homage to, what AJ feels, were the peak of cigars: pre-Castro Cuba. While the cigar itself doesn’t have any Cuban tobacco in it, it does feature tobacco sourced from the four oldest of AJ’s farms in Esteli, Nicaragua, some of which has been aged for seven years.
“These are the four oldest farms I own,” says Fernandez, “and I’ve been setting aside tobacco from each farm and aging it for years for this blend. I want everyone to enjoy it like the glory days of old Cuba.”
